Andrea Pirlo urged Champions League giants to sign Aaron Ramsey

Andrea Pirlo has tipped Juventus to sign Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal.

The midfielder will be available on a free transfer this summer as his deal with the Gunners will expire at the end of the campaign.

The 28-year-old did have the opportunity to sign a new contract with Arsenal before the club withdrew their offer with the intention of Unai Emery and now the Wales international will be free to negotiate with teams outside the Premier League from January.

Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are both interested in the midfielder, and European giants are understood to be offering a deal with €10-20m per year, which is the sum the Welshman is looking forward for.

But Andrea Pirlo, who won four Serie A titles with Juventus, has told his former side to get the deal over the line: ‘Ramsey is a great purchase,’ the Italian legend told Sky Sport Italia. ‘Juventus are preparing another excellent deal. He is a strong player and could do very well.’
