Arsenal fans react to Ever Banega rumours

According to Mundo Deportivo, Sevilla’s Ever Banega is close to completing an £18m move to Arsenal, with the player’s agent believed to be in London to finalise terms for a deal that would see the Argentine link up with his former boss.

At 30, the midfielder is soon to be entering his twilight years and, should the switch be completed, he would become the third player in his thirties to be signed by Unai Emery since the Spaniard took the reins in the summer.

The maestro has chalked up eight goals and five assists this season, four and two of which, respectively, came in the Europa League as his side topped their group.
