Arsenal playmaker will be out until February after breaking his right foot against Tottenham
HENRIKH MKHITARYAN has fractured a metatarsal in his right foot and is expected to be out of action for six weeks.
It is understood the Arsenal playmaker, 29, sustained the injury in a challenge with Lucas Moura in the Carabao Cup clash at the Emirates last Wednesday.
The ball fell towards him after a corner and as he went to let fly, the Spurs man nicked the ball away.
It meant Mkhitaryan clattered into Lucas and was left writhing in pain as Tottenham countered.
The incident happened just before half-time and the Armenian did not continue after the break.
And he was then not in the Arsenal matchday squad for Burnley's visit to the Emirates at the weekend.
