Arsenal’s predicted line up to play Liverpool amid injury crisis for Unai Emery

IT IS a case of another game, another headache for Arsenal boss Unai Emery.

His team travel to Anfield tomorrow evening to take on the league leaders Liverpool - but with seven first-team players out.

Jurgen Klopp's men have won their last eight matches since these two sides drew at the Emirates at the beginning of November.

What Emery needs is a full-strength team but what he has is the exact opposite.

He is definitely without Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Konstantinos Mavropanos while Nacho Monreal and Shkodran Mustafi are expected to be out.

It leaves Stephan Lichtsteiner, Sokratis, Laurent Koscielny and Sead Kolasinac as the only fit defenders.

That should - in theory - be a ready-made back four for Arsenal as they try and contain the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and the in-form Xherdan Shaqiri.

Lining up with three typically-defensive midfielders in the shape of Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi may have raised eyebrows at home against Huddersfield.

But away at Liverpool it makes perfect sense and the trio who started together on Boxing Day at Brighton are likely to keep their places.

In attack, Mesut Ozil started at the Amex behind the Premier League's top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
