Premier League the next stop for Barcelona star?

OUSMANE DEMBELE HAS BEEN SPOTTED IN LONDON AND SPECULATIONS ARE SURROUNDING HIM FOR A MOVE TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE.

Ousmane Dembele has not been able to adapt well in Spain after this 105 million euros move from Borussia Dortmund. The Frenchman has struggled to perform consistently for the Catalan Giants and his attitude towards the club has come under fire.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool have shown great interest in signing the ex-Dortmund player and now he has made headlines by being spotted in London. Dembele was seen with Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shopping for Christmas. Aubameyang posted a video on his social media pages showing the duo looking at cars and clothes in the capital.
Dembele has been in headlines for his behaviour towards Barcelona, he was late for training a couple of weeks back which created a lot of conflict. Despite his disciplinary problems, Dembele has scored 7 goals in 11 La Liga starts which illustrates his potential. The Frenchman is slowly making his mark for the Catalan Giants in his recent performances which is great news for them. But his appearance in London ahead of the upcoming transfer window has made matters worse for Barcelona as he might be interested in joining the Premier League.
Dembele might be in his way for Arsenal but his wage demand can be through the roof and they might have to sell their star playmaker, Mesut Ozil to bring this young prodigy to the Emirates.

AUTHOR’S TAKE

Ousmane Dembele has been regarded as one of the future stars of World football but his behaviour and attitude towards the game have not helped him reach his potential. Barcelona are staying calm and providing lot of opportunity to the Frenchman but if he continues in this fashion he might be sold in the next transfer window. Growing interest from Premier League clubs is also a concern for the Catalan giants.

Emery confirms worrying transfer news for Arsenal on Thursday

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has confirmed some worrying news for Arsenal fans with less than three weeks now left in the January transfer window.   The Arsenal boss managed to sign several players during the summer but most of the deals were for a cheap price, significantly lesser than what rivals Chelsea and Liverpool were paying for their new signings. Club owner Stan Kroenke has been criticised by most fans for refusing to spend enough money when needed in the transfer market. Following the recent 5-1 humiliation away to Liverpool in the Premier League which exposed most of the team’s serious problems, several fans have been calling for signings to be made this month. However, speaking on transfers at his press conference on Thursday morning, Unai Emery revealed that the club is not financially capable of making any permanent purchases of players at the moment. Thus, the Arsenal boss insists that loans deal will be the Gunners’ best bet in the January transfer windo...
