Unai Emery reveals qualities Arsenal needs to play in Champions League

Arsenal is currently not in the Champions League spots and Unai Emery has revealed the two qualities which the gunners need to play in the best European competition.

Battle for the Premier League top four spots has been very hard this season because most of the big clubs want to play in the UEFA Champions League next season. Arsenal is among the teams that wants to move to the top four but it has slipped up its chances this month.
Arsenal was having the same points as Chelsea before Premier League game week 19 but the gunners made a 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion while Chelsea beat Watford 2-1 and are now 2 points ahead of the North Londoners. So Arsenal’s chances of getting back to the Premier League top four are becoming slim after every Premier League game.
Unai Emery had a post-match press conference after his team’s 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion and he was asked on Arsenal’s chances of finishing in the Premier League top four. Unai Emery has said that they need to qualities to get back to the UEFA Champions League, one be an established team and being stronger.
“I think for us, it’s best to think of the next match. Also to continue working in our process.” Unai Emery told Arsenal Media.
“It’s very important for us to go into the Champions League, but we need to do one process, to do one more established team and to be stronger.”
It is not clear whether Unai Emery believes that they will be able to get these two qualities this season or if he means that it could take more than one season but the Arsenal fans are tired of Thursday football.

Emery confirms worrying transfer news for Arsenal on Thursday

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has confirmed some worrying news for Arsenal fans with less than three weeks now left in the January transfer window.   The Arsenal boss managed to sign several players during the summer but most of the deals were for a cheap price, significantly lesser than what rivals Chelsea and Liverpool were paying for their new signings. Club owner Stan Kroenke has been criticised by most fans for refusing to spend enough money when needed in the transfer market. Following the recent 5-1 humiliation away to Liverpool in the Premier League which exposed most of the team’s serious problems, several fans have been calling for signings to be made this month. However, speaking on transfers at his press conference on Thursday morning, Unai Emery revealed that the club is not financially capable of making any permanent purchases of players at the moment. Thus, the Arsenal boss insists that loans deal will be the Gunners’ best bet in the January transfer windo...
