Unai Emery has identified Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas as a potential signing.
The Gunners landed Bernd Leno as a long-term replacement for Petr Cech during the summer transfer window, while the Czech remains as the backup at Emirates Stadium.
However, El Confidencial is reporting, Unai Emery is ‘in a rush’ to secure the services of Keylor Navas at the midway point of the campaign.
The Costa Rican ace has made 149 outings since joining Los Blancos in 2014, but the 32-year-old now finds himself on the bench after the arrival of Thibaut Courtois.
The South American stopper still has just over 18 months left on his contract, but it has been suggested that Real Madrid would consider any offers in the region of £12 million and Unai Emery will be ready to spend this amount of money on the experienced player like Kaylor Navas.
Meanwhile, David Ospina is set to join Napoli on a permanent deal after the Colombia international established himself as Carlo Ancelotti’s number one and is enjoying great time in Italy, despite failing to beat Liverpool and advance to the playoffs of Champions League.
