Arsenal eye Serie A star as Aaron Ramsey replacement... but Man Utd keen too

Ramsey looks set to join Juventus at the end of the season, bring an end to his decade-long spell at Arsenal.
But according to reports in Italy, the Gunners will have to beat off stiff competition if they are to snag Barella.

As an all-action midfielder, Barella's style of play makes him well suited to the Premier League.
Although he recently professed his love for Cagliari, the star also stated his admiration for English football.
He said: "If I had to choose between the Serie A and the Premier League, I would go for England because I love the way they approach the game.

The report also states that Premier League teams represent ‘the greatest danger’ and are ‘at the window’.
Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini is said to value Barella at £44m.
Meanwhile, Arsenal boss Unai Emery believes Ramsey will remain in north London beyond the January transfer window.
"At the moment he is working with us and I think yes [he will stay until the end of the season]," the Spaniard said after the 4-1 win over Fulham.

And despite rumours to the contrary, Mesut Ozil's agent insists his client is happy at Arsenal.
