Arsenal are close to signing Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas and preparing to make an offer during this January. Gunners need a new high-class shot-stopper as David Ospina wants to stay in Napoli and his replacement is necessary. Costa Rica international is the best choice in this situation as he also wants to get a regular place in starting line-up and ready to change the working place.
Unai will do everything to add him during the winter transfer window. Keylor joined the Los Blancos from Levante in 2014 with a £10m deal. He is one of the best goalkeepers in Europe and an important figure for the club. Last season Navas played 25 games and made 6 clean sheets in all competition. This is a good result and he can do much more if he gets regular game time.
The 32-year-old shot-stopper is contracted with the Spanish club until 2020 and his release clause is around €20m. He played fantastically in 2014 World Cup and paid big clubs attention. Costa Rican goalkeeper won many trophies with Real Madrid club like Champions League three times, La Liga and Spanish Super Cup. London club set to pay big money for the player as Bernd Leno needs back-up.
