Mesut Ozil remains ‘100 per cent committed’ to Arsenal and will not be leaving the club anytime soon, according to his agent.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Emirates in recent weeks following several omissions from Unai Emery’s starting line-up and matchday squads.
The German is currently nursing a knee injury which kept him out of Arsenal’s last two games, but it remains to be seen whether Emery will put him back in the side when he returns to full fitness.
Despite his reluctance to start Ozil, Emery has insisted that the playmaker is still a part of his side and plans. There is, however, speculation over the player’s long-term future at the club and Real Madrid and Inter Milan have been mooted as possible destinations.
But Ozil’s agent, Dr Erkut Sogut, has reassured Arsenal fans that the German is totally committed to the club and will not seek an Emirates exit this month or in future transfer windows.
