Liverpool and Man Utd had chance to sign Arsenal attacking midfielder



Liverpool and Manchester United reportedly pulled out of the running to secure services of Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey due to the excessive wage demands.

The 28-year-old  has agreed on a four-year deal with Serie A champions Juventus that is rumoured to be worth around £400,000 per week, making him the second-best paid British player of all time after his compatriot Gareth Bale.
Free agent Aaron Ramsey was also touted as a transfer target for Real Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain and while Arsenal’s top-flight rivals Liverpool and United have tried to sign him.
According to the London Evening Standard, however, the English giants ended their interest as soon as they were informed over players wage demands.
