Liverpool and Man Utd had chance to sign Arsenal attacking midfielder



Liverpool and Manchester United reportedly pulled out of the running to secure services of Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey due to the excessive wage demands.
The 28-year-old  has agreed on a four-year deal with Serie A champions Juventus that is rumoured to be worth around £400,000 per week, making him the second-best paid British player of all time after his compatriot Gareth Bale.
Free agent Aaron Ramsey was also touted as a transfer target for Real Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain and while Arsenal’s top-flight rivals Liverpool and United have tried to sign him.
According to the London Evening Standard, however, the English giants ended their interest as soon as they were informed over players wage demands.
Walse international midfielders exit will officially go through this summer and ends end hs 11-year career at the Emirates Stadium Arsenal after joining from Cardiff back in 2008.
Meanwhile, Serie A giants Inter Milan forward Ivan Perisic would rather make move to Tottenham than Arsenal, according to the reports from Italy.
The Croatia international attacker has been rumoured with an array of Premier League teams over the past 18 months and came close to making a summer move to Manchester United while Jose Mourinho has been in charge at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils stepped forward with an offer for world-cup finalise, however, were unable to get the deal done with Inter Milan, though that interest has since faded after Portuguese head-coach left the club.

Emery admits Arsenal’s top four chances are over if they lose to Chelsea

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has admitted that his sides chances of finishing in the top four will be all but over if they lose to Chelsea at the Emirates tonight.
