A Spanish warrior with a Mancunian heart – Can Ander Herrera deliver against

Manchester United vs Liverpool the fixture itself is enticing enough to engage any football fan in the world to the game. And after a dominating win over Chelsea at the capital the sky-high confidence of the home side can be even more spurred by the man of the match, Ander Herrera. 16 th  December 2018, Liverpool had beaten Manchester United three goals to one and the defeat left all the traveling fans in an absolutely catastrophic scenario. Now, losing to an in-form Liverpool side in their den is not that shameful but the way United approached the game had left all the players in a pathetic condition. Reports also claimed Jose Mourinho only called few key players in one on one tactical explanation and this discrimination had cost him his job within thirty-six hours. Ole Gunnar Solskajer then took over the club and cut to 13 games later, Manchester United made it in the top four place. They are also in the quarterfinals of FA Cup, which was seemingly impossible the way ...

Sarri takes swipe at Arsenal, says his side are better

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has taken swipe at his London rivals Arsenal, stating that his side are a better team than the North London outfit but they are still more criticized. Chelsea Enter Battle With Three Other Premier League Teams For £35m Rated Turkish Winger

Chelsea are the latest Premier League club to scout Roma winger Cengiz Under, according to reports in Italy. The likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham are also said to be interested in the Turkish international, along with Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. Under was reportedly the subject of a €30m (£26m) bid from the Gunners last summer, only for Roma to reject the offer for being below their asking price. The Giallorossi are said to be holding out for €40m (£35m), and the Italian club are believed to be willing to sell. Although Under’s contract at Roma runs until 2022, negotiations over a new deal have reached an impasse and the Serie A side are therefore prepared to let him go. The 21-year-old has been in excellent form this season, having scored six goals and provided nine assists in 25 appearances. With the Blues have already signed one winger in Christian Pulisic for next season, a move for another wide man may seem unlikely. However, ...

GAME CHANGER | Arsenal Surprise Favourites For £70 Mil Superstar In The Summer | Media Fantasy Or Dream Come True ?

Arsenal have recently expressed interest in signing Matthijs de Ligt from Ajax. This move is most likely to happen if they ship out Mesut Ozil, somehow win the Europa League and manage to qualify for the Champions League. The likelihood of all the aforementioned happening has more convolutions than obtaining the 19 year old’s signature. Matthijs De Ligt has started to establish himself on the top-level and all the major clubs in Europe are on the hunt to obtain his services. He has attracted serious interest from serial league winners like Barcelona, who want him to replace the ageing Gerard Pique. Graduating from the Ajax academy, he has all the characteristics of a ball playing center-back.

Premier League sack race: The managers who have lost their jobs this season as pressure mounts on Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri is feeling the pressure at Chelsea following Monday’s drab FA Cup defeat to Manchester United. The Italian only took over from Antonio Conte last summer but a string of poor results and question marks over his tactics have seen him come into the firing line. Chelsea are notorious for being cut-throat with their managerial position and Sarri could only have a few games left to convince the club’s bigwigs that he is the right man. The Blues face Malmo in the Europa League tomorrow before Sunday’s Carabao Cup final clash with Manchester City, the team they lost 6-0 to just a couple of weeks ago. As well as Sarri, Marco Silva’s underwhelming start to life at Everton has seen his future be called into question while Leicester boss Claude Puel has also been feeling the heat. There were a total of 13 managerial changes throughout last season with the likes of West Ham, Southampton and Crystal Palace all opting to start afresh ...

Raheem Sterling gives Manchester City crucial advantage over Schalke

What was set to be a harrowing night became a memorable one for Manchester City as Leroy Sané’s late equaliser and Raheem Sterling’s 90th-minute winner gave them a famous win. It meant that despite ending the game with 10 men following Nicolás Otamendi’s red card, and so being without him and the suspended Fernandinho for the second leg, they remain favourites to progress to the quarter-finals. All of this came despite a controversial VAR decision to award Schalke the first of two penalties that had appeared likely to give them victory. For Sané, a former Schalke player, his strike – a stunning 85th-minute free-kick – was particularly sweet. “It means a lot. I was a little bit sad for Schalke because the atmosphere was amazing like it always is,” he said. “You can see the will is a lot, we never give up, we always want to keep fighting.” Pep Guardiola’s notable selection move was deploying Fernandinho at centre-back, as he did for this month’s win ov...

Man City were victims of complete and utter VAR farce as ref waits three minutes to get WRONG verdict on Otamendi handball

MANCHESTER CITY were the victims of a complete and utter VAR farce. If I was refereeing and I saw the first penalty incident after City's 3-2 win at Schalke, I would be furious about that decision. Firstly, because the pitchside monitor was not working and, secondly, my colleague in the VAR room deemed that a deliberate handball from  Nicolas Otamendi . Law 12 says there has to be a deliberate movement of the arm/hand towards the ball. Irrespective of the position of the arm/hand, it doesn’t necessarily mean an offence has been committed. In my opinion it is NOT a deliberate handball. 5 Man City faced a long delay before the verdict, even though the Nicolas Otamendi 'handball' was not a clear and obvious error, in fact probably not deliberate BT SPORT 5 Unlucky Nicolas Otamendi appears to pull his arm away from the fierce shot The shot from Daniel Caligiuri is coming at pace and Otamendi is trying to take his arm out of the way — so therefore it c...

Real Madrid Slam €150m Asking Price On Man Utd Target

Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid have slapped a €150m asking price on Gareth Bale ahead of this summer’s transfer window. This is according to the publication from French news portal Le 10 Sport. It was revealed that the Los Merengues are ready to let Gareth Bale leave the club in the summer but will demand €120m-€150m for him. Welsh international Bale has been linked with major Premier League sides like Chelsea and Manchester United. The 29-year-old had earlier joined Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2013 after a stellar season for the North London club. Real Madrid paid a then world-record fee of €100m to secure his transfer from Tottenham Hotspur and their asking price for him represents a significant profit on him. It remains to be seen whether the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United would be willing to pay as much as €120m to €150m for a player who turns 30 in the summer. Real Madrid are open to his sale after Gareth Bale failed to step ...
